Policies & Terms - Original Art

We do our best to make working with us as easy as possible, and part of that effort involves being up-front about our policies and procedures.

Original Paintings and Artworks listed on our website are created and shipped directly to you by the Artist/Seller. We do our best to ensure a satisfactory transaction process.

WARRANTY: 1ArtCollection guarantees you to make every effort to enable you to acquire authentic original works at the fairest price, or to reimburse you in full. A Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the Artist, will accompany the Artwork.

14-DAY RETURN POLICY:  1ArtCollection is 100% committed to the satisfaction of collectors. You have 14 days from the delivery date to return an original work. The work must be returned to the Artist in perfect condition, in its original packaging. All eligible items can be returned (unless otherwise indicated).

REFUNDS: We offer refunds on purchase Artwork if we are notified within 

PAYMENTS: All transactions are 100% secure transaction, Accepted Payment Methods: Credit Card, PayPal.

COLOR BALANCE: It is important to understand that the color balance of images viewed on computer and mobile device screens will be different on each device. Your original artwork may appear slightly different from what you view on your individual computer screen or mobile device. Any variation in color balance will not be considered an error or defect.

We recommend you utilize our PREVIEW IN YOUR ROOM tool on the Artwork product page to ensure your purchase will look as you envision it on your wall. Double-check the Product Details and your order for accuracy BEFORE YOU CHECKOUT and PLACE ORDER. 

NOTE: 1ArtCollection will not be held responsible and will not offer replacements if you ordered the wrong size or color or change your mind. 

SHIPPING:  

The shipping of this artwork is handled directly by the seller. 
  • Packaging: (Box or cardboard packaging) All artworks are shipped with a premium carrier, carefully protected and insured.
  • Tracking: Order tracking until the parcel is delivered to the buyer. A tracking number will be provided so that you can follow the parcel in real-time.
  • Delay: Most packages are delivered worldwide within 1 to 3 weeks (Estimate)
  • Customs are not included. The price does not include customs fees. Most countries have no import tax for original artworks, but you may have to pay the reduced VAT. Customs fees (if any) are to be calculated on arrival by the customs office and will be billed separately by the carrier.

SHIPPING DAMAGE: If you receive a shipment that appears damaged, we offer a refund if you return the product within 14 days of delivery. 

Instructions: DO NOT REFUSE the shipment, but immediately inspect the contents, take clear PHOTOS of any damage, and contact us by email to get a refund started. We will file the necessary claim with the shipping carrier. Shipping damage is beyond our control. Please include the order number and photo(s).

In case of an unsuccessful delivery, please notify us as soon as possible.

DATA HANDLING:

COOKIES:  The term “cookie” refers to any technical means to store data on a visitor’s computer for later retrieval. We don’t set tracking cookies that would require consent (legally or ethically), nor allow third parties to set cookies via our websites. We only use cookies that are “essential” or that don’t contain any personally identifiable data.

DATA PROTECTION:  Our business approach has always been to place product quality front and center, and on strong ethical foundations. Deep respect for and attention to personal data are part of our DNA.

We collect only what is necessary to: 1) Provide the service our customers request; 2) Allow our company’s legitimate operations and; 3) Comply with the laws we are subject to.

We store as little personal data as needed, for a limited duration, and it would naturally be out of question to share our users’ data with third parties outside of the scope described above.
