About Shane

Aloha, I’m Shane! Before my life in Hawaii, I was born and raised in a small town in northwest Ohio. Along the way I attended The University of Toledo where I was educated about many fascinating things including the joys of student loans, all-nighters at the library, and how much I really appreciate my mother’s home cooked meals. In 2009, after graduation I moved to the North Shore of Oahu where I began my “real job” working with the Department of Education.

In May, 2010, I was introduced to the art of photography by my eventual wife – on our first date. Like my love for my wife, my passion for photography has continued to evolve since that day. Through experience and experimenting I have been fortunate enough to define my photographic and artistic niche by utilizing various photographic techniques that provide my images with the enhanced, surreal look. I feel extremely blessed to be able to capture and share the extraordinary beauty of our world.
