About Jess

Jess Burda is a renowned Artist living on three tropical acres on the big island of Hawaii. His unique paintings have been displayed in several well known galleries throughout the U.S. as well as private collection worldwide. Jess is highly regarded and well known for his unique, expressive, and vibrant style., showing a deep connection with Nature.

In his own words : “Having traveled and lived in multiple states across the US, I have always been fascinated that we are all surrounded by the great variety and brilliant ever changing color pallet of Nature. In my paintings I try to portray just a glimpse of the light rays and secrets Nature reveals to us.

Eventually moving to the East side (wild side) of the Big Island was my dream. My wife of 43 years and I built our unique home amongst the Ohia Trees and planted a great Variety tropical greenery. Hiking, swimming and deep meditations in the forest have greatly influenced my painting style. As crazy as it may seem, when I begin painting, I have no idea what the end results will be. Each painting seems to unfold naturally as I paint. They reveal themselves ,each in their own unique way, as my love of nature flows through me. I am eternally grateful !”
